Claims for reimbursement for any expenses from any of the benefit plans must be submitted to and received by Sun Life within 90 days of the end of the calendar year in which the expense is incurred. This means that the deadline for submitting claims incurred between January 1 and December 31, 2020 is March 30, 2021. Claims must be received by Sun Life by this date. Your claims can be submitted through the Sun Life website or mobile app. If submitting claims by mail, please allow a minimum of 5-7 business days for delivery. If you miss the deadline you will not be reimbursed for your claims incurred. This deadline applies to 2020 claims made under the Dental Plan, Health Plan or Flexible Spending Program (Health Spending Account or Personal Spending Account).
