U of S has a campus safety app. The USafe App is available for Android and iPhone, and gives you direct access to Protective Services and other important safety tools and information, including:
- USask Alerts: Notifies you of USask Alerts in active and urgent situations (you will have enable notifications in the app).
- Safewalk/Friend Walk: Provides live location monitoring to help you get from point A to B.
- Mobile Blue Light: Contacts Protective Services and simultaneously sends your exact location for an immediate response If you are in crisis on campus.
- Work Alone: Checks in on you while you work alone on campus. If you don’t check in on your phone in the allotted time you have selected, USafe will call Protective Services or your emergency contact.
