USFA Peter T. Millard Award: Call for Nominations

Nominations are now open for the inaugural USFA Peter T. Millard Award.

This Award was created on the 10th anniversary of the death of Peter Millard, who passed away on December 8, 2001, and to mark the 35th anniversary of the USFA Certification Order (January 26, 2012). It is meant to provide a means for USFA members to acknowledge and recognize other USFA members who, through their activism and involvement in the USFA and with the administration of the Collective Agreement, have been champions for and on behalf of USFA members and faculty at the University of Saskatchewan.

Do you know of an individual, or individuals, who have assisted and/or supported a USFA member or members, or faculty generally? Whether this assistance and support has been a long-term, cumulative contribution or a single, particularly important event or action, consider submitting a nomination. Some examples include participation as a colleague, mentor or advocate, demonstrated commitment to USFA involvement, specific actions or contributions.

Nominations for this award can be made by any current USFA member or by any USFA committee. The nomination will take the form of a letter from the nominator describing how the nominee has made significant contributions to the USFA and its membership through their work as an academic, as an activist and as a member of the USFA.
